Three main workshops
were planned (beginning in Fall 2000 until Fall 2001) and a Final
Conference:
Workshops:
- DCode: Establishment of as standard mandatory or voluntary quality
control procedure for modelling works (celebrated in Brussels,
October 2000)
- MDir: Establishment of an harmonised description for transport
models (celebrated in Brussels, December 2000)
- GTF: Establishment of common transport format for data exchange
between advanced transport models (Barcelona, October 2001)
Final Conference
- Integrated presentation of DCode, MDir and GTF, together with
LTVisions: Problems and opportunities of using advanced software
technologies to make modes more friendly and interactive to end-users
(Brussels, February 2002)
Preparatory documents
In order to help the discussions, spotlightsTN partners and Scientific Committee
members have developed a number of draft proposals and prototypes
to be used as starting points for the discussions:

DCode: A voluntary "Scientific Pedigree" approach based on the
SPQR approach
- MDir: Interactive directory of European freight and passenger models
described according to an harmonized structure
- GTF: Proposal of an specific data model
- LTVisions: Search of interesting experiences (interactive and
friendly models though Internet) as benchmarks, and development of
complementary prototypes
