Thematic mapping of regional statistical indicators 

in EU, Accession and Mediterranean Countries, and also projects from other sectors (Urban and Water).

 

  
 

Thematic mapping interface

Each regional level has different variables to be studied and each map can be visualised several shapes and colours. This unables the user to obtain materials for reports and presentations.  

Once inside the internet interface to go to the Thematic mapping interface the user has to click the Statistics clip.

Design a thematic map:

  1. Choose an administrativa level on the right hand side of the interface.

  2. Choose the type of thematic map (under administrative levels list). A new window show up.
 

  1. Choose the variable

  2. Choose the statistical value to study

  3. Choose the design colour 

  4. The relation of the value and the dimensions of the symbols, if necessary
 

  1. Press Display map

 

The thematic level will appear as a layer in the active map by default. The user can change the background using the geographical references and transport networks in the View interface). 

To delete the thematic level press Clear all.
