Searching interface

IGIS Internet interface allows the user to search a project or a group of projects  and locate them. IGIS contains 1.327 projects financed by the EIB from 1963 to 2002 coded according to AGORA lists (455 projects are "graph" elements in IGIS to allow for spatial and network impact analysis, the rest of the projects are represented as points located where the project is held).

Road projects:

 358 (268 as graph elements)

Railway projects:

 93 (39 as graph elements)

Airport projects:

 113 (62 as graph elements)

Ports:

 71 (46 as graph elements)

Water projects:

 272

Urban projects:

 167 (26 as graph elements)

Combined projects:

The options of the Searching projects interface are listed below:

  • Search a given project or a group of projects

  • Consult the data of a given project

  • Locate a given project or a group of projects

  • Do statistics of the loan of a group of projects

     

Search a given project or a group of projects

  
  1. Choose the value of the variables listed in each box (country, AGORA number, year, status, etc.)

  2. Press List all projects found, situated in the bottom of the interface.

   



  

A list of all projects that fit in the search will show up as follow. 

  

    

 

 

  1. Then, the user can consult the data of a single project of the list by clicking on its name. A new window will appear with the basic data of the chosen project, as shown in the image.

   
 

  1. To locate a given project press on See map, situated on the right hand side of the basic data table. The project will appear located in a map (using the geographical references and transport networks in the View interface). Without unselecting the project, the user will be able to design his own background for the map.

Once the process is finished to unselect the project press Clear all in the View interface.

     

  1. To locate a group of projects, the user has to search them first and from the list of selected projects press Map Projects, situated on the right hand side of the list. The projects will appear located in a map with geographical references and transport networks in the View interface. From there, without unselecting the projects, the user will be able to design his own background for the map.

Once the process is finishes to unselect the group of projects press Clear all in the View interface.

   
  1. To locate a a group of projects, to search them first and from the list of selected projects press Statistics, situated on the right hand side of the list. A new window will appear with statistical data referred to the loan of the projects and the query corresponding the search previously done.
